Happy National Day

My parents arrived in Kuwait yesterday. So far we have been to the traditional market - Souq Mubarakeya, the National Museum, a three hour walk of downtown Kuwait - past the Grand Mosque & and one of the many palaces, American University of Kuwait, to the largest mall in Kuwait...and tomorrow we are going to a private museum - Tareq Rajab. We are also going out to one of my Kuwaiti friend's family desert camp! So I hope to post some pictures of their visit after they leave for Dubai on Saturday...

I hope you have all enjoyed the first half of the Egypt pictures. I promise to post more soon...

Kom Ombo

In Kom Ombo we walked off the ship right up to the Temple shared by two Gods: Sobek the crocodile god and Haroeris the falcon god. These pictures show how some of the paint has managed to stand the test of time...

Hot Air Balloon Ride

We took a Hot Air Balloon ride over the Nile River, the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, and the Colossi of Memnon. Here are some pics of the sunrise on the Nile River.

Happy Valentine's Day

I am back from Egypt. I had an amazing time and took lots of great photos. The internet is currently down at the house (I am writing this from campus). So as soon as it is back up I will post some photos from Egypt.

Today was the begining of the Spring Semester at AUK. My first class of the day was cancelled. And I think that my second class of the day will be cancelled as well. One of my courses was cancelled for the semester due to low enrollement. Now I am busy looking for another course to take in its place.
